Cave Creek is a 2014 Nominee for the PRCA Small Rodeo of the Year Award!
The Desert Foothills Community Association (DFCA) is an all-volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit Arizona corporation headquartered in Cave Creek, Arizona. The DFCA, better known as the Cave Creek Pro Rodeo Committee, is governed by a Board of Directors who are elected by the membership to manage the Association and its activities.
The 2014 Board of Directors currently consists of eight members and their main areas of responsibility are as follows:
Traci Casale – President / Sales, Marketing & PR / Sponsorships
Bill Buckles – Arena Director
Stacy Tucker – Hospitality Chair / Volunteers
Gina Kraut – Production Coordinator
Robbie Hall – Parade Chair
Gary Stark – Security / Parking
Cody Hall – Livestock Manager
Patty Byerly – Chris’ Cowboy Kitchen
The CCPR Committee produces three full PRCA Rodeo performances, along with the annual Golf Tournament, Parade, Dances and Mutton Bustin’ Competition. These events are all part of the Cave Creek Fiesta Days™ Rodeo celebration that started in 1977. The Cave Creek Fiesta Days Rodeo is the ONLY professional rodeo in Cave Creek, AZ and Rodeo Weekend has become the largest attended & most anticipated event in our area.
Membership is available by submitting an application along with a ten-dollar annual membership fee. All activities of the Association are conducted by the membership, with the assistance of other volunteers who share a common interest in professional rodeo.
The Cave Creek Pro Rodeo Committee generally meets on a monthly basis. Meetings are open to anyone wishing to attend. Volunteers and new members are always welcome.
