TRACI CASALE, PRESIDENT
Two thousand fourteen marks the tenth consecutive year that Traci Casale will serve the Cave Creek Pro Rodeo Committee. This is her fourth consecutive two-year term as a Board Member and her first two-year term as President. Traci has an extensive background in Sales & Marketing that has proven to significantly increase the bottom line for rodeo each year. In addition, her experience in promotions, event planning, PR, social media and networking have contributed to the continued growth and popularity of our rodeo.
While representing Cave Creek Pro Rodeo, Ms. Casale has strengthened ties with the PRCA, the Turquoise Circuit and many local PRCA rodeos. She was instrumental in bringing the top-notch, award winning PRCA Contract Personnel to Cave Creek including The Cervi Brothers Rodeo Co, Sunni Deb Backstrom and Justin Rumford, to name a few.
Ms Casale’s undeniable commitment to the Cave Creek Pro Rodeo Association comes from a life-long love for the sport of rodeo. Her main goal is to give back to our community by making the Cave Creek Fiesta Days Rodeo bigger and better each year.
Traci Casale and her husband, Nick Hannah, also a CCPR Committee Member, reside in Desert Hills, AZ with their two dogs, Rocky and Bella, and their horse Navajo.
Bill Buckles, a third generation cowboy brings a vast amount of rodeo experience to the Cave Creek Fiesta Days Rodeo. Bill is an accomplished team roper, skilled farrier and all around expert in the sport of rodeo. Mr. Buckles has both grandfathers inducted into the Cheyenne Frontier Days Hall of Fame as the Buckles family competed and served as Stock Contractor for roping cattle at Cheyenne Frontier Days for many years.
Bill Buckles has volunteered for years with Fiesta Days and became an active member of the rodeo association five years ago. Bill is currently serving his second term on the Board of Directors and has assumed the important role as Arena Director. Bill enjoys working at the grounds making integral improvements to the Cave Creek Memorial Arena.
Mr. Buckles is the proud father of twins. His son Brandon and granddaughter live in New River, while his daughter Brett resides in Colorado. Bill is a Cave Creek resident who enjoys team roping as well as training and selling performance horses.
BETH CORNELL – TREASURER / HOSPITALITY CHAIR
Beth Cornell is an accomplished Cave Creek Realtor® with a diverse skill set whose accomplishments include a business background in agriculture and real estate. Her professional certification as a Paralegal and many years working in the field of accounting provide the skill set required to effectively serve as Treasurer for the Cave Creek Pro Rodeo Association. Ms Cornell was recently re-elected to the Board of Directors as her fourth term and has served on the Association for the past nine years. In addition to her Treasurer position, Beth also transformed the Stockman’s Club and has run the VIP area for the last six years.
Her love of animals and the sport of rodeo is what brought her to the Cave Creek Pro Rodeo Committee and is the driving force behind her efforts to ensure the continued success of the organization and its mission.
Newly elected Board Member, Stacy Tucker has been volunteering with the Cave Creek Pro Rodeo since 2012. Stacy has assisted with volunteer coordination, Mutton Bustin, and the Stockman’s Club. Her “can-do” attitude was quickly recognized and Stacy is now one of the Hospitality Co-Chairs along with keeping up with her other responsibilities such as the Volunteer Coordinator.
Stacy grew up on a farm in Kansas which she now owns. The farm is a working farm where she and her dad own and raise cattle. Stacy has been actively involved in rodeo, Paint and Quarter horse showing, and ranch sorting for over 35 years. She is proud of the western way of life and volunteers to help keep the tradition alive.
Ms Tucker is the Vice President of Financial Aid Operations for the University of Phoenix and holds a Bachelors of Education degree from Washburn University and a Masters Degree in Management from Baker University. Stacy resides in Chandler with 2 children, a daughter Lindsay and son Trenton, 2 horses, Mint and Goldie, and 3 dogs, Daisy, Honda and JoJo.
Gina Kraut has been involved with the Fiesta Days rodeo for many years fulfilling many roles. The entire Kraut family has a lengthy rodeo resume and Gina’s experience will be a tremendous asset to our Association.
Ms Kraut will be assisting on the production side of rodeo where her expertise can be fully utilized to insure the best in high-quality / fast-paced PRCA performances.
The Kraut family owns and operates their own roughstock business – K4 Bucking Bulls. Gina works every end of the business and is quite a hand behind the chutes flanking bulls. In additon to her responsibilities with K4, Gina also owns and operates Buckin’ Awards and has quickly become the preferred vendor for rodeo committees and producers due to her innovative, unique desgins and exceptional customer service.
Ms Kraut is married to Luke Kraut, one of the two 2014 CCFDR Bullfighters. They live in Wittman, AZ with their two sons, Cauy and Boyce, along with their string of bucking bulls, their horses and dogs.
TINA HAYDEN – RECORDING SECRETARY / MUTTON BUSTIN’ CHAIR
Tina Hayden has been volunteering with Cave Creek Pro Rodeo for the past five years. Tina is serving her second term on the Board of Directors for the rodeo association. Tina is the Recording Secretary for the Association and is also in charge of the Mutton Bustin’ event and organizing the layout of the banners for sponsors and advertisers.
Ms Hayden currently works as an administrative assistant at Hayden Electric, Inc. and earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from ASU. The Desert Hills resident is the proud mother of Mason, her nine-year-old son. Tina’s hobbies include riding horses, competing in marathons, reading books and spending time with her family.
ROBBIE HALL – PARADE CHAIR
Robbie Hall is currently serving her first term on the Board of Directors for the Cave Creek Pro Rodeo Committee. Robbie has acted as the head parade marshal for the CCFDR parade for the past five years. In 2013, Robbie took over as Parade Chairperson and continues to oversee and coordinate all parade activities.
Robbie is a professional trainer with Wells Fargo and has been with the organization for the past eleven years. Robbie is married to Cody Hall, who is also a Director for the Cave Creek Pro Rodeo Committee. The Hall family, which includes their daughters Dakota, Sierra and Tristyn, reside in New River. They enjoy spending time outdoors riding horses and four wheeling.
Gary Stark, a 21-year military veteran, originally joined the Cave Creek Pro Rodeo in late 2005. However, shortly after that he was called out of the country for military duty. After his return and subsequent retirement in 2008, Gary once again became an active member and was elected to the board of directors in early 2011. 2014 marks the start of his second Board term and he is the Chief of Security and Parking.
Mr. Stark is the Director of Operations for Universal Technical Institute – Avondale. He is married and has four children. His wife Julie is also a member of the rodeo committee. Gary and Julie live in Waddell, AZ. His hobbies include rodeo, hunting and most competitive sports.
Jim Olsen has been a volunteer with Fiesta Days. He became Committee Member four years ago and is now serving his first term on the Board.
For the 2014 event, Jim will oversee the bleacher seating and the ushers to make sure that the rodeo fans enjoy the ultimate rodeo experience without interruption. He will also assist as Board Liason to the Merchandise team to make sure all our rodeo fans get their CCFDR gear to wear all year long.
Jim Olsen, a twenty-six year ASE certified mechanic, owns his own business, All Auto Service, in Anthem, AZ. This Cave Creek resident enjoys riding horses, team penning and sorting, ranch work and boating.
Newly elected Board Member, Cody Hall, holds the title of Livestock Manager and is responsible for forming the team that works with the Stock Contactor’s animals insuring safety and efficiency at each rodeo performance.
Patty Byerly has been a member of the rodeo association since 1984 and has served on the Board of Directors four different terms. Her area of responsibility is running Chris’ Cowboy Kitchen that was built in 1997 in honor of her mother, Chris Hornbrook. The cowboy kitchen is a hospitality area for the contestants – a thank you for competing at Fiesta Days.
Patty is married to David Byerly and they have two daughters, Tiffany and Chrissy. The couple resides in Cave Creek, AZ. Patty’s hobbies include volunteering for Fiesta Days Rodeo, leather craft and making western décor. She is employed at Target as a Stock Associate.
